Automation updates Create automated action sequences in a single workflow Automation technology's automation capabilities now allow you to create workflows that contain automated action sequences based on a single trigger and add custom deadlines to activities. We've also updated our easy-to-use workflow builder so you can master your sales funnel and understand what's being set up. We know managing your automation can be difficult especially when you have multiple sequences set up. That’s why we’ve updated our automation capabilities so that you can use action sequences to define more complex automation processes within a single workflow. You can set the actions in these sequences in any order you like.
You can even add a custom due date to the activity if you want to schedule after triggering. Merge fields can now also be used to automate your custom processes with standard activity annotations. An example of an automation sequence in its simplest form is where the user simply defines a trigger Email Marketing List and an action step to be automated. However you can do more. For example, let’s say you want to ensure that new deals are contacted automatically and immediately after a few days after they enter your funnel. You set up a new deal. You create a trigger that automatically sends them a template email as soon as a new deal comes into the funnel.
Next you have a condition that assigns the deal to one of your reps based on their time zone. Finally you assign the deal to one of your reps. Set up an activity to call a contact on a new deal one week after they enter the funnel. Intuitive Workflow Builder To help you get started with the updated automation features, we’ve created an intuitive workflow builder you can easily understand. What is being set is always in your control. There are also templates for common workflows if you don't want to start from scratch. You can also copy and update any existing workflow. This can help you master updated automation features or merge existing workflows when relevant. of automation features are available to users of our Advanced Professional and Enterprise plans.
